Make sure you get the following nutrients in your diet to increases your chances of growing during your childhood.

Vitamins you want to be sure you have in your diet are: Vitamin A, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Vitamin F, and Vitamin K. All of these vitamins help you grow.


Minerals – These are also something you want to have in your diet. Bones and teeth are made up of minerals. They also help with other bodily functions. Minerals that you want to get in your diet are: Calcium, Chromium, Chlorine, Fluoride, Iodide, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Potassium, Sodium, Sulfur, and Zinc. Make sure you get these minerals in your diet because they are essential to help you grow.


Protein – This is another nutrient you want to get in your diet. The amount of protein you want to get in your diet depends on your age and size. Young people need more protein than older people. There are two different types of proteins: complete proteins and incomplete proteins. Complete proteins are found in animals and incomplete proteins are found in nuts, seeds, peas, grains, and beans. Make sure you eat them both together for maximum nutritional value.


Water – Make sure you drink water. This is a great nutrient that cleans waste out of your body. Make sure you get at least 8 glasses of water per day. This is one of the best tips to grow taller.


Food – Eat the right amount of food. You do not want to eat a too much or too little amount food. Make sure you get your 5 basic food groups. Don’t eat too much because you do not want to gain too much weight while you are still growing.

Posture


Don’t Slouch – While sitting in chairs don’t slouch. This is bad for your body when you want to grow. Be sure you are sitting up straight when in chairs. Make sure you aren’t leaning against something or holding your head up with your hand. All of these can stunt your growth, so be sure to learn correct posture to ensure maximum height.
